Norwegian Wood

I have wanted to see the Gokstad Ship for a very long time - at least 30 years, if not more.  And now, today we're on our way.

We have an early morning flight from Gatwick to Oslo tomorrow, so tonight we'll stay in a 'park and fly'  hotel near the airport.

I've seen some beautiful photos of this ship, but it's bound to be crowded, so I'll make do with a postcard.  

Anniemay - still basking in her Viking DNA results - wants to sit in it.  I don't think so, somehow.


This blip is a photo of a 100 kroner bank note.  It's an amazing image.  I will spend it when I get there.
