A surprise visitor.....

I do have moments of feeling quite sorry for myself, totally pissed off, etc,etc. When I took sick at hotel ( Hyatt).last week the staff were wonderful, re packed my bag for me and called me a taxi. Just as we were leaving a really nice young lad, slipped into taxi beside me and said, I'm coming too, you might need me. He is Korean by birth but went to school in Singapore and Switzerland!! Marcuz has perfect English. So on way into town he distracted me with pointing out the sights. He stayed with me all day until 7 pm- over and above the call of duty!! He was invaluable and knew the system.
Last night he popped in to visit and was delighted he had found some Kiwifruit juice just for me. Believe me it made my day. Korean males when they leave school do 2 years Military, then go and do whatever. Marcuz had done 2 years as a medic in army, and is now working his way up through hotel management.
2 things.......use the Hyatt if you have an option....
.......do a good deed for a stranger...you will get it back 100 fold.
He intends travelling, so I suggested he comes to ChCh, is the Hyatt still standing??
He really restored my faith in human kindness....here endeth today's lesson !!!
