Lochboisdale day 1

We left Scotch Corner early and made good progress until we reached the start of Loch Lomond. We sat in a 2 mile traffic jam and started to panic about catching the ferry. However, after a roundabout the traffic eased and we were on our way again.

We drove through Glencoe on roads we cycled last year and I felt quite emotional about it. Such stunning scenery and such an achievement

We made it to Mallaig, got the bikes out, changed and cy led the very short distance to the port. The cruising was calm and we met cyclists and other tourists who gave us some good tips of where to visit.

The b&b is lovely and we have walked the short distance to the pub where it was busy as there has been a regatta today.
