Approaching Victoria

A snatched photo through the very grubby window of the Gatwick Express as it slowed down before London Victoria this evening. It wasn’t as dark as it looks - shooting into the sun and so on - but I can’t help noticing the light difference when compared with Home.

London is very warm, even at 10pm, but in Belgravia there is the scent of the insanely majestic trees in the embassy-surrounded squares...
