Madeira Holiday 2018 (Day 0) Guernsey

It takes two journeys to get from Guernsey to Madeira ... One from Guernsey to Gatwick ... and another one from Gatwick to Madeira.
Through experience, I find it best to do these journeys on two separate days ... If for any reason the first leg gets delayed due to bad weather, then it's very possible to miss the connecting flight for the onward journey.
As it turned out, our first flight left on time and without a hitch ... and even better, I was able to capture a quick shot of my home location (Bordeaux Harbour) out of the aircraft window.
