Welcome Home

We returned home very early this morning to Happy Pups and these impressive Blood Lilies. Scadoxus is a genus of African and Arabian plants in the Amaryllis family and their bulbs have lain dormant all winter only to announce their emergence with these 10 inch or so wide bright orange/red flowers. 
I, unfortunately, came home with a nasty digestive bug of some ilk. After a 'bad' morning, I'm in bed weak with a headache. Ugh! This too shall pass. :)
