Jedburgh Castle Jail

Our annual birthday trip to a castle, this time to a jail! We seem to have exhausted the actual castles within driving distance. There once was a castle here, a long time ago, but it changed hands between the Scots and the English many times. Eventually, when the Scots finally regained possession of it, they burned it down so the English couldn't use it for their own again. It was interesting, if a little chilly!
