Dog tired

The morning after the busy night before.

My youngest stepson and I stayed with my mum last night. Scorrie seems to have managed to persuade my mum that it's ok for her to lie on this lovely (for how long?!) sheepskin rug. At our house we have hard oak floors, and just 'normal' rugs, so she must feel quite hard done by.

We headed home in the afternoon, picking up food and middle stepson en route. Then eldest stepson and girlfriend arrived for dinner, to complete the birthday get together. I don't see him often, so it's been great to see him to soon! It's just a shame that their Uncle had to head for home and couldn't join us as he's working Saturday and then driving to Germany on Monday.

An easy Indian (thanks Asda!) spread, some booze, and several games later, we headed for bed very late, or was it early!? (5 o'clock!)

As a friend of mine said, it was just a shame the boys dad, our 'main man' isn't with us, and he was missed by all.
