On Guard.....

Still trying to catch up with posting my blips this week.....

I spotted the moorhen family on the pond at work this morning. Four lovely chicks. I went back at lunchtime to see if they were still around. They were, and to my surprise so were a female mallard and her nine ducklings! They were in and out of the water, and I didn't really get a good shot of any of them.

So I went back before leaving for home and this is what i was met with. The female being the perfect parent. A fa as I could tell, all 9 were underneath her wings.
