Young Zimbo's
There are a lot of bbq's in our life - or braai's, whenever there's a chance, dinner is cooked outside and always tastes delicious. I can slave over the stove for hours and it never tastes as good as something that's just whacked on the braai. The boy's are growing up as proper little zimbo's learning that the best food is cooked outside.
Very lazy morning, we finally got ourselves out to explore our nearest small town, unleash a bit of very rusty French and indulge ourselves in the local boulangerie. I took the eldest in to buy some bread and a treat - he choose a tarte aux fraise, hardly a surprise given the love-affair he has with strawberries.
I had a moment of needing to get out and made the family go for a walk around the village, only to come back and fall asleep whilst trying to get the youngest to have a nap (I failed in that mission).
Beautiful sunny evening planning our week and what we are going to do each day (aside from indulging in French bread and butter)
