Tollcross to Arthur's Seat

Here's a wonderful clear view, looking from Tollcross (in Edinburgh!) over to Arthur's Seat this evening ...

... well, it's strictly speaking from the edge of Bruntsfield Links, and the snap shows a small tree in the foreground, which was recently planted as a memorial to a well-known, local Tollcross resident who died last year.

Small ceremony held there today, to mark the occasion and unveil a plaque, followed by a few drinks in The Golf Tavern - a very fitting tribute ;-)
