The good guys...

This is what I saw first thing apond waking this morning. My street line up with work trucks. Still dealing with the aftermath of Sandy after being in it's path, Tuesdays blip, if you care to take a look. My street and most of my neighbors were without power for five days and nights. Our house was one of the five houses that had power, let it be known how grateful I was. I felt kinda bad as I looked out the window at night and knew my neighbors were without light or heat especially because each night the temperatures were dropping and it was getting colder and colder. It was a little hard to completely enjoy my warmth. That is till the good guys came today. The trucks here were out of state. We had help from all over the country, very cool how people come together to lend a helping hand. There were thousands of people in my tri state area without power, pretty crazy. Today 6 days after the storm I heard that 85 percent of the power is restored...Good job PECO...Philadelphia Electric Company and those from other electric companies who came in to help. The Jersey Shore is such a mess, my thoughts and prayers are with them. So sad :(

On another note, tomorrows the big day for me...500 blips...woo hoo!
