Oh you BAAAAAAAAAD girl!
After a late night with Shev, DavzoBroon and some lovely family members/friends of theirs, I was still up at 7.15 and ready for my breakfast at 8.30. I love sitting in the lounge here where all the guests have breakfast or sometimes drinks in the evening. I had French people to my left, a large group of Germans behind me as well as an English (AAAAARRRGGGHH!) family behind me and a few people I wasn't sure about. I love hearing David Kay (the owner and host) explaining all the breakfast items to guests who look puzzled at the 'Hearty Highland.' 'Square sausage, tattie scone, haggis....'
I just have egg, bacon and tomato. Boring, predictable but I love it. I've had the same breakfast when here, every single day unless I've seriously overdone it the night before. That's only happened once in all these years thank goodness! Today was a normal day despite my late night.
After I'd had my breakfast I went to the Museum of Scotland. I love that place and visit several times each trip when in Edinburgh. I took loads of pictures. I mean LOADS! It was a beautiful day and the view from the roof was spectacular. Despite all that, I give you Dolly who looked at me reproachfully as I'd missed her out in March as I wasn't in Edinburgh for long. I'd only gone for a couple of concerts and to visit the zoo with @atocher and @btocher (Twitter friends). It was all prearranged and it was a swift visit and break from Ayr after Dad's funeral.
Dolly said 'BAAAAAAAAAA! You saw those dratted pandas but missed me out!'
I'm here now, Dolly and you are my blip today.
