Sam Widges (Friday 25th May 2018)

Because it was raining in the morning Gardening Friday happened in the afternoon, and included moving a metal arch from the centre of the garden to the top, where it is lighter and more can be grown on it.

At lunchtime I went into Calne to get one of Sam Widges' fabulous baguettes - their Early Bird Breakfast of sausage, bacon, mushroom, scrambled egg and tomato. I ate it in the Town Gardens; it was delicious.
