Extravaganza begins

No 1. Son arrived late last night after quite a slow drive up from the south. Good form

No 2. Son arrived this morning after difficulty with the trains.

But they are here and we are all ready to celebrate my 60th next week.

We had a very posh afternoon tea at a local hotel with several of my friends here. Really nice afternoon. I am very lucky.
