Wednesday: Japanese Residence

My German colleague will shortly be leaving Vancouver so my Japanese colleague had a farewell dinner for him tonight.  It's a treat going to her house - she has an amazing Japanese chef who serves the most beautiful, delicate and delicious meals.  They're usually about 7 course.  Two examples from tonight: 

Yomogi Infused Gomadofu, followed by Sake Steamed Abalone.  And more in that vein.

The house is also beautifully Japanese styled inside.  

When leaving, I saw my first coyote, wandering across the patch of grass opposite the house.
