Another day ....

And sadly another funeral. This time of Joan, a friend of over 30 years standing through the Scottish Government Gardening and Craft club. Joan had not been well for a year or so after her husband’s passing.

I made it to the funeral in Kirkcaldy but was a few minutes late due to the excessive delays and slow traffic following the horrific fatal crash early today on one of the main roads to the Queensferry Crossing.

I had a chance to catch up afterwards with Joan’s daughter Claire and her friends before heading back through traffic to the office.

Fittingly the flowers were dramatic and colourful.

The day, which had started with a briefing on our digital programme ended with a hour’s hospital broadcasting with 2 blind friends. Good music and chat to end the week.
