Lounging

Every time I go up the allotment this cat is lounging in the same spot on my plot - watching me as I dig and probably thinking "What is that madwoman up to today?"
Well today I was able to plant my flower seeds in my finally finished border! two types of poppy - one called hens and chickens - I kid you not! I have gone for a purple theme with Lupins, Linaria, Larkspur, Zinia, two types of Love - in - a - Mist, one purple and the other white with a purple centre! 
I was very lucky for another allotmentor gave me a roll of chicken wire so I used that to cover them and keep the rabbits and cats off! 
I then dug over last years courgette and pea bed and planted 3 types of lettuce, 2 types of beetroot and rainbow coloured Swiss chard. I had al=ready planted some climbing courgettes, using raspberry canes to make a framework that leans onto the back of my garden bench. Then with the 2  runs from old coops I made a fence all the way round it! 
Was I ever feeling happy after 5 hours! Also my peas, runner beans and climbing beans have all sprouted and my alliums are flowering along with one of my roses! happiness abounding!
Once home I tidied up and hoovered ready for my sisters arrival thurs eve! I also had a very good nights sleep!
