More Family

We drove down to Jasper, Indiana today, about 80 miles from Rob's home in Bloomington, to visit my son and daughter's side of the family.   Uncle Steve is their father's brother.  His brother and I were married in 1960 (see Extra); Lisa was born in 1962 and Mark was born in 1966. Steve's wife Judy is on the left, I'm on the right with Aunt Betty in the middle.  She'is temporarily in a nursing home in the early stages of dementia and there are some difficulties arising that are heartbreaking.  Lisa and Aunt Betty have maintained a fairly close relationship over the years and share a deep love of animals.  There's not much Lisa and I can do to help because we live so far away but we're going to make it a point to stay in closer contact for support.
