Today, I got to listen to a woman who had been diagnosed with leukaemia 22 years ago. She had recovered, thanks to a stem cell transplant, and she's now working as a peer support person.

The woman's presentation was captivating. Afterwards, it felt surreal to go out in the sun, among the traffic, to the every day life.
