Himalayan Garden

A great time of year for azaleas and rhododendrons, meconopsis and acers in the wonderful Himalayan Garden near Grewelthorpe, Yorkshire. A long narrow windy lane far from anywhere makes you think nobody will be there. But when you arrive, there's a field full of cars. The cafe gets full too but as soon as you explore the gardens and woodland, the crowds disappear. A heavenly place - only open in spring and autumn, though.
