Welcome the Rain

It feels as though the rain has come at just the right time for the garden.  Not good for Glyn though as it was too wet to set his wood working machinery up outside, so the two doors will have to wait until Tuesday before they are put on.  Consequently it is a bit cold downstairs.  I’ve managed to do a little bit of cupboard cleaning and to take a few items out of boxes, but I think most of it will not work out until we move out of the small kitchen and re-assign it a role as a washing/utility room.  The good (and bad news) is that the fridge is working again after its three days being left to thoroughly defrost (my kind adviser on the community FB page was right when he said it might work again if it was allowed to totally thaw out).  I’m very fond of that fridge but was persuaded that the kitchen would look better with the built in version and I think they were right, BUT!  At least it will go to a good cause and The British Heart Foundation people are coming to collect it on Tuesday.
