From my front window

I can see Middleton Woods. I have been told that they are part of the original woodland that stretched down to Sherwood forest. Middleton railway -the world's oldest continuously working railway (from 1758!) used to carry coal from the woods and there are still the hollows where the shafts were - now used by kids on bikes to test their courage and skills.
