I've got the power.

Happy, happy day. Spent most of it outside, clearing up some of the post Sandy mess in our garden. Began to think that perhaps, just perhaps, this could be more bearable than I thought.

Then, this afternoon, after 6 looooong days, the lights came on. And the tv. And the dishwasher.

And we did a very happy dance

At the risk of sounding a bit preachy, please spare a thought for the millions of people who are still sat in the dark and cold tonight. Everywhere.
