Stone Henge? Child's Play
Utterly astonished by Fingerprints Of The Gods. Reading about Sacsayhuaman in Peru, built (possibly) as long as 6,000 years ago, or maybe even longer according to author Graham Hancock, by an advanced civilisation which predated the Inca, I just had to see it for myself (virtually, at least.) Thank you, Google Images. The largest stone in this castle weighs 361 tons, is 28 feet high and hewn to razor sharp precision. Most similarly cut stones weigh around 100 tons. What kind of technology must have been required to cut these stones so precisely and then transport them tens of kilometers to this site atop a hill before lifting them and placing them so precisely one atop the other?
Don't even get me started on Machu Picchu.
And who is the mysterious Viracocha of Peruvian legend? A white- skinned, white-haired, bearded man with blue eyes who emerged from the deluge that wiped out almost the entire population of the world many thousands of years ago and bought farming, clothing, architecture, schools and other forms of civilisation to the cave dwelling humans who existed when he arrived from across the sea?
Merlin?
Intriguing doesn't come close to capturing the mysteries presented by this astonishing book.
Hamlet was right. "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy, Horatio."
