Home time

We had an early breakfast before catching the airport bus back to Faro.   We were delayed for an hour or so due to the French Air Traffic Controllers' industrial action (no surprise there)...... but were back in Glasgow Airport in the afternoon, with a coach waiting to bring us back home.  

It was a terrific club holiday, lots of relaxation as well as some walking, and lots of fun.  May is a good time for us northerners to go to hot countries, as it is not yet too hot, but we get some much needed sunshine.

The hotel chosen was very good, and there were no problems.  The pool was used well, and there was a sauna, outdoor and indoor pool and spa, so everyone was catered for.  

The meals were buffet style, which offered a good choice.  I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, with everything you could desire.  

Roll on next year.......I wonder where we will be going.......
