Preschool Graduation

Nug Bug graduated from preschool this week. We missed the ceremony. It was on Tuesday night. Nug Bug didn’t want to go because she was so tired. Her sleep apnea is at its worst. She’s exhausted all the time and falls asleep during the day constantly. Surgery is scheduled for July and it can’t come soon enough.
I was so upset about her not wanting to go, but we are making the best of a tough situation and I will treasure this photo forever.
I woke up with a few new thoughts on this...Nug Bug was not upset at all about missing graduation. She just started preschool in April of this year when I went back to work. The rest of her class had been together for two years. Nug Bug loves homeschooling and the time we spent together. It’s such a good reminder to me about putting my expectations and values on other people, particularly my children. They have their own thoughts and feelings. This wasn’t a big deal to her. I love my tiny teachers and what they offer me in the way of life lessons every day.
