Blip after GDPR?

The GDPR went into effect today while I was keeping Evan. It doesn't, so far, affect people on this continent who stay on this continent (and heaven help us for very different reasons if we have no choice but to remain here), but I fear it may have far-reaching affects on street photographers in Munich, Bruges, and possibly even London and Leigh-on-Sea. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I have phenomenally low requirements for privacy, as readers of this journal know well, and I'm already on the surveillance lists of all the right-wing operations in this country, so I don't really give a flip about privacy. I know many people cherish what little privacy they still have, so it may be that  even some street photographers welcome the GDPR. I don't know. I'm curious what others may have to say about this, so I'm turning comments back on to see if anyone I know has anything to say about it, but please don't feel obliged. I'm still over-committed and unable to comment much myself.
