"Vera's Leap" - Thrunton wood, Northumberland

We are staying in Alnwick in Northumberland for a couple of nights whilst visiting family. It is really quiet and beautiful round here. This afternoon we went for a walk through Thrunton Wood and up onto the ridge looking North towards the village of Whittingham, from where this photo was taken.
The rocky crag in the foreground featured in a recent episode of 'Vera', a crime drama TV series. In the episode a young girl was perched on the edge of this crag threatening to jump. This rock has subsequently been nicknamed 'Vera's leap'.
