Everybody is searching for a hero
It keeps happening.
Every day, the sun comes up, the air warms.
The world smiles.
We go to work. We come home.
We sit in the garden, we potter around. We smile at the sky.
We wander round the Allotment. It was a bit exciting tonight. A tree lost a branch a couple of nights ago, and yesterday the tree was timberrrrrred.
Wow, it was massive - see the gap in my extra. There are three massive lumps of tree in the allotment, they are going to be made into planks. Lumps outside and two humungous piles of sawdust chippings.
It's very sad to see a tree go, which I remember my dad climbing for me, about ..... years ago, to get me a chestnut. But it was rotted in the middle. We were lucky it hadn't fallen before.
This wee thrush was also singing loudly - and veering close to us.
Then we swung round the town, looked at the shore which was still inhabited.
and then I grabbed this shot as we headed back home.
How lucky are we to live in a place that looks like this.
