Red horse chestnut blossom

I realised this morning that I must have walked past this display of red horse chestnut blossom about a dozen times over the past couple of weeks (on my way to and from the hospital), but not noticed it. I'm pleased to share it with all my blipfriends, but especially Sallymair.

The main event of the day chez hazelh was the delivery of a static exercise bike. It belongs to our friend Paul. He's currently in the middle of moving house and has no space for it, so has asked us to look after it for the time being. If we still have it in the wintertime, I think it will see a lot of use on the cold, dark, icy days when we would rather cycle indoors than out.

Meanwhile in Northumberland my father took delivery of the larger gilet and it fits perfectly. My mother also likes the silk blouse that I added to the parcel as a surprise for her :-)

It's my last radiotherapy appointment tomorrow...

Exercise today: walking (11,264 steps).
