Eurasian Jay

This is the same Jay I blipped a couple of weeks back, and he's continued to visit on a regular basis;  as you see, he's now very able when it comes to getting at the suet balls on the feeder - not something I've seen Jays doing before.

I went to spend the morning with my BIL who was taken into hospital on Sunday with a bad case of hives;  he was much better when I saw him today and after lunch when the doctor had seen him he was told he could go home. The only mystery is we've no idea what caused the problem and therefore no idea of how to stop it happening again.
