Aberdeen non slip Adamant

I've lived in New Malden pretty much my whole life. Unless somebody knows better, I'm going to stick my neck out and say that this is the only Aberdeen non-slip Adamant paving stone in the town. Why is it here? I don't know. Is it genuinely less slippy than its neighbours? No idea. But it intrigues me - about that I'm Adamant.
