Abstract Thursday - Textures

We stopped to watch a wood chipper crew this morning who were lopping branches and then pushing them through their incredible and awfully noisy chipping machine. Even Toto was mesmerised!

After they left I went over for a quick look at some of the bits left lying around and found this piece which looked like it had some interesting stitching all through it, quite fascinating! It was a lone piece so I'm not sure that it came from the same tree that they were lopping.

The big storm front has arrived and it's raining bucket loads at the moment and the wind is so strong the roof is making some scary noises Aarrghh!!! The Internet was cutting out earlier on so I'm hoping it doesn't go off altogether! Here's a link to the radar wow!!
