Textured Abstract

Went to use my camera. It would not work. Couldn't get the button to press down and take a shot. Drat! 
Checked the lens. Attached fine. 
Checked the battery. Fully charged.
So, wondering what I'd done I strolled into town and went to J&A cameras where I'd bought it..... They did mostly what I'd done and got similar responses.  Then, a voice out the back said "Check the card".  A different card was inserted and bingo! Camera fine.   Why did the camera not note that the card was faulty??  Hey ho, no worries.... two new cards now ordered in case my others are getting to their end also.
Now, I have an textured abstract for today. Yeah!
