Spectacular Rannerdale

The second week of our regular annual visits to Rannerdale - and the bluebells were certainly at their peak, though the bracken was certainly starting to grow through. The group all got some great pictures, and we had the pleasure of bumping into fellow blipper and good friend DavidC and his editor.

Was continually gobsmacked at the ignorance of so many walking over the bluebells, despite the plethora of notices asking them to stay on the paths. I watched a lady walk from the beck up through the bluebells to the main path and step over the rope barrier to get a better angle for a photo (not a guest!). My shouty voice carried really well and I think she managed to leap back over the rope and onto the path in one motion! :-)
