Morning walk

reflecting and watching wildlife. The usual: a pair of bull elk on the way at five o'clock in the morning but no place to quietly stop and blip them.  One beaver then three or four at the main dam. Lots of tail slapping after swimming towards me but no blips (I was a little too late arriving). My surprise was a pair of herons perched in a tree but they soon spotted me and were off to a better hiding place.

Trip to Show Low and another tomorrow to get tyres for the trailer. I hope I make it as the tyres are beyond their "replace by . . . " date.
