A woman mathematician
Went for a nostalgic trip down the West Coast mainline to Milton Keynes in order to attend Prof June Barrow-Green's inaugural lecture "He denies the very existence of a woman mathematician". (A quote from George Eliot who was introducing a celebrated Russian mathematician to Herbert Spencer....)
Afterwards went to Ye Olde Swan for a meal with a bunch of old chums - more splendid bletherage.
