Weeping Window

Not quite the sobering experience of seeing all of the poppies in London, where each poppy represented the death of someone's son, brother . . . unforgettable. 

But this is spectacular nevertheless. Weeping Window is one of the two sculptures, created from the original installation, which have been touring the country. Yesterday it arrived at Carlisle Castle, so this afternoon we went to see it. Good to see the poppies against the old walls, just like in London. Definitely worth seeing.
