Out for a leisurely stroll...

One of thousands of skiers who started the City of Lakes Loppet at 9:45 this morning. Once the flurry of tier one "fly-boy" skiers (they were way too fast for me) came through, our man here came down the hill, slow and steady. He seemed like he was keeping up a good pace but not pushing it.

Along the trail, onlookers were ringing cowbells and yelling 'woohoo' for encouragement...everyone just dizzy with happiness at another above-freezing day...I love how Minnesotans with their strong Nordic heritage embrace winter!
