Green heron

This green heron was fishing along the shoreline this morning when I went to the pire. I forgot to take my camera on this trip so I went back to the house to get it. Well it decided to jump up on the pier away from the scenic marsh background by the time I got back. So, there you have it a pier bird among the goose poop. It was one of three I took today. Busy getting ready for a trip to WV Thursday.
