Awaiting our Uber ride at La Guardia airport. A miserable day here but forecast better tomorrow.
A bit of a hectic day getting all the troops organised for the flights and all went well for half of us. The rest have got stuck in Washington DC - the airport closed for a while due to lightning strikes. Chaos. They've been on standby for several hours and hopefully will arrive at about 11pm tonight. Feel sorry for them especially with young C with them. Little J is at least here in NYC sound asleep in his hotel crib now.
