Hats off to Mr PP!

Mr PP had a go at archery this morning for the first time since his hip surgery just over 10 weeks ago. He came home looking so pleased with himself, I asked if he'd got a bull's eye. Um - well - he then showed me the photo he'd taken on his mobile phone: he'd got three bull's eyes in three consecutive arrows! Woo hoo! I think we can safely say, he's on the mend.

Really hot and sunny today, too.  Keep watering the pots in the garden and finding pleasing results that might be blipped over the next few days. These include the first flower of the season on our calla lily (a plant that has recovered after it had turned to green pulp when it snowed) and several buds on the anemones (grown from bulbs that I bought in Funchal in February).
