Olive planting

As this is posted the day after the photo was taken it has become apparent that the olive trees have been planted too close together ( by me in the temporarily blazing sun).

What to do? Well, we wanted them close and when they grow up we’ll work out what to do.

Meanwhile the Redstart family let out one of their fledglings. Like a kid (or me) with a radio-controlled plane the little fella whizzed about with barely any control. Boss and I were mesmerised and in agony of little one’s fate. And she/he popped into the kitchen.

Planted lots of plants out in a brief interregnum in the piovial onslaught.
