Backblip: Flying into Lisbon

On holiday, and offline from Blip, so quite a bit of catching up to do - which may take some time. So here’s a start .......

Travelling day. Manchester to Lisbon with TAP was fine.
Very little traffic on the motorway, at times nothing in front and nothing behind. After the motorway, north on a more windy road, also fine. Reached Galegos in the Alentejo near the Spanish border with no difficulty, Our hosts greeted us on arrival.
Interesting seeing lots of big twiggy storks nests on some of the electricity pylons.
White port on the terrace (accompanied by a singing nightingale, and a distant cuckoo), and then a hearty evening meal.
To bed tired, but feeling this will be a good place.
