Just chillin

Alexander had his first open morning at school this morning. We went round to reception class after dropping Phoebe off. He was really nervous when we went in and wouldn’t speak to the teacher! We sat a did a craft which involved eating marshmallows and he picked up a bit. He had a good explore of the outside play area and then back in the class to make a pasta necklace. At 10:30 we got to go out onto the big field and join the rest of key stage 1 during their playtime. Phoebe was a very proud big sister and showed him off to all her friends before taking him off to play.

When we had finished at school we went over to the park for a picnic and a play. Xanders cold started getting the better of him after awhile. He asked if we could go home because he was tired, so we did. But he didn’t sleep.
