One for sorrow, two for joy...

We spotted this group of magpies this morning. I was too slow to catch the moment when eight of them were hanging around respectfully while a big black crow had his share of the whatever-it-is.

I'm not sure what eight would give me but six is "for gold". I'll settle for that!
