Phaestos.

Today we drove to the south of Crete to see Phaestos, the site of two Minoan palaces. Most of what remains was built around 1600 BC. However, parts date back to around 2900 BC. It was thought to have been destroyed by a tidal wave around 1450 BC.
This room was shut off by a gate. I could see vague shapes inside so I put my camera through a gap in the gate and managed to get this. They are huge jars called pithoi.
