The Grange Flower Show
As a nod to the Chelsea Flower Show, I took photographs of the flowers blooming in the Grange on my early morning walk today.
Despite the shock of finding the warm conditions of the last few days giving way to a wind straight off the Urals, with a temperature of 6°, the flowering bushes were prolific in their abundance, hanging over walls, bursting through railings and lining driveways with a riot of pinks ,reds, yellows and white.

It may be that wild rhododendrons are the scourge of the countryside but in suburban gardens they look wonderful in all their pink glory.
It felt very familiar to have to don my thermals again, but I am assured that during the rest of week I might not need them. Time will tell.
