Otis and I spent a few days in Ireland so I could show him where I was brought up. This is the Cathedral that my Great Grandfather helped in the completion of by loaning his steam traction engine complete with driver and two labourers to cart the stone from the quay to the cathedral site. My great grandfather was a member of the Church of Ireland and the Cathedral is Roman Catholic. Was this an ecumenical first for the town?
